Previous Pick: Ndamukong Suh

3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma
Previous Pick: Gerald McCoy

4. Washington Redskins: Eric Berry, S, Tennessee
Previous Pick: Russell Okung

5. San Francisco 49ers: Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame
With Eric Berry being drafted by the Redskins, the Eagles decide to withdraw their interest in the #5 overall. This ends up being lucky for the Chiefs as they receive the 49ers' two first rounders and the 224th overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft for the chance to get franchise quarterback of the future. Sorry Alex Smith, but your days are numbered.
Previous Pick: Eric Berry

6. Seattle Seahawks: Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma
Previous Pick: Trent Williams

7. Cleveland Browns: Joe Haden, CB, Florida
Previous Pick: Joe Haden

8. Oakland Raiders: Bruce Campbell, OT, Maryland
Previous Pick: Bruce Campbell

9. Buffalo Bills: Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma State
Previous Pick: Rolando McClain

10. Jacksonville Jaguars: Derrick Morgan, DE, Georgia Tech
Previous Pick: Derrick Morgan

11. Denver Broncos: Maurkice Pouncey, OC/OG, Florida
Previous Pick: Maurkice Pouncey

12. Tennessee Titans: Jason Pierre-Paul, DE, South Florida
The Titans give up their 1st and 4th rounders in the 2010 NFL Draft, and their 2nd rounder in the 2011 NFL Draft in order to draft a badly needed defensive end.
Previous Pick: Jason Pierre-Paul

13. Kansas City Chiefs: Rolando McClain, LB, Alabama
With the first first rounder the 49ers gave the Chiefs, they select their run stopping 3-4 inside linebacker in Rolando McClain.
Previous Pick: Earl Thomas

14. Seattle Seahawks: Dez Bryant, WR, Oklahoma State
Previous Pick: Dez Bryant

15. New York Giants: Mike Iupati, OG, Idaho
Previous Pick: Anthony Davis

16. Miami Dolphins: Sergio Kindle, LB, Texas
The Dolphins cannot find any suitors to allow them to trade back, so they settle with the very talented linebacker from Texas.
Previous Pick: Jimmy Clausen

17. Philadelphia Eagles: Earl Thomas, S, Texas
After the Redskins ruined the first Chiefs-Eagles trade, talks reopen when it become apparent that Earl Thomas can be had in a trade with the Chiefs. The Chiefs agree to stay away from the 37th overall pick, but receive the 24th, 55th, and 200th overall picks in the 2010 NFL Draft.
Previous Pick: Mike Iupati

18. Pittsburgh Steelers: Kyle Wilson, CB, Boise State
Previous Pick: Kyle Wilson

19. Atlanta Falcons: Brandon Graham, DE, Michigan
Previous Pick: Sergio Kindle

20. Houston Texans: Ryan Mathews, RB, Fresno State
Previous Pick: Ryan Mathews

21. Cincinnati Bengals: Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma
Previous Pick: Jermaine Gresham

22. Dallas Cowboys: Anthony Davis, OT, Rutgers
The Cowboys would love to see Anthony Davis fall to them, but can't hope any longer, as they give up the 27th and 90th overall picks for he chance to get an early start on building their aging offensive line for the future.
Previous Pick: Charles Brown

23. Green Bay Packers: C.J. Spiller, RB, Clemson
Previous Pick: C.J. Spiller

24. Kansas City Chiefs: Terence Cody, NT, Alabama
Who made who better? McClain or Cody? Afraid we will not know anytime soon as college football's dominant duo resurface in Kansas City tonight. Never hurts to have team chemistry with one another so soon.
Prevous Pick: Terence Cody

25. Baltimore Ravens: Sean Weatherspoon, LB, Missouri
Previous Pick: Sean Weatherspoon

26. Arizona Cardinals: Charles Brown, OT, Southern California
Previous Pick: Brandon Graham

27. New England Patriots: Jared Odrick, DE, Penn State
The Patriots cannot find a deal that like for the 27th overall pick, so they go for the player that been reportedly "greatly" interested in for quite some time.
Previous Pick: Jared Odrick

28. San Diego Chargers: Dan Williams, NT, Tennessee
Previous Pick: Dan Williams

29. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Demaryius Thomas, WR, Georgia Tech
The Jets could use some more picks, and the Buccaneers deliver giving up their first second rounder, third, and first seventh rounder in the 2010 NFL Draft.
Previous Pick: Demaryius Thomas

30. Minnesota Vikings: Tim Tebow, QB, Minnesota
Previous Pick: Jerry Hughes

31. Indianapolis Colts: Devin McCourty, CB, Rutgers

2010 NFL Mock Draft 9.0: Final Trade Edition

1. St. Louis Rams: Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma
This pick has been obvious for weeks, and there has been no reason to believe anything different at this point.
Previous Pick: Sam Bradford

2. Detroit Lions: Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska
Jim Schwartz said a couple months ago that he was going to go with the best player available until his team is a contender. You can never have enough good players.
Previous Pick: Ndamukong Suh

3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma
The Buccaneers want one of the top defensive tackles in this draft, and Suh is already gone. That leaves Gerald McCoy as the obvious choice, and luckily for the Buccaneers they got probably the better of two, he is definitely the more athletic one.
Previous Pick: Gerald McCoy

4. Washington Redskins: Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma State
With no picks in the first two rounds, the Redskins need to protect Donovan McNabb, and even though there has been reports that the Redskins will more likely take Trent Williams this week, but you can't trust anything that is said this week.
Previous Pick: Russell Okung

5. Philadelphia Eagles: Eric Berry, S, Tennesse
According to the subscriber at kan.scout.com, there is deal with the Eagles and Chiefs being worked out where the Eagles get Eric Berry at the number 5 spot, and the Chiefs get the Eagles' first rounder, and second second, and both third rounders. If Nick wants to keep getting my money, he better be right.
Previous Pick: Terence Cody

6. Seattle Seahawks: Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma
The Seahawks really need someone to replace Walter Jones, and there is noone better in the business of potential than this guy. Seahawks will love to get him.
Previous Pick: Trent Williams

7. Cleveland Browns: Joe Haden, CB, Florida
The Browns really want Sam Bradford, but the Rams will be asking too much. They could love Eric Berry also, but the Eagles offered more. They will settle with the best cornerback in the draft.
Previous Pick: Eric Berry

8. Oakland Raiders: Bruce Campbell, OT, Maryland
The Raiders need help on the offensive line, and Al Davis is a huge fan of the fast and strong guys. This guy is the best in both for offensive linemen.
Previous Pick: Bruce Campbell

9. New York Giants: Rolando McClain, LB, Alabama
The Giants like Rolando McClain, and they will give up their 1st and 4th rounder in the 2010 NFL Draft and a 5th rounder in the 2011 NFL Draft.
Previous Pick: Anthony Davis

10. Jacksonville Jaguars: Derrick Morgan, DE, Georgia Tech
The Jaguars made progress by signing Aaron Kampman, but he is already in his 30s. They need to draft someone to takeover for the disappointing Derrick Harvey and to eventually replace Aaron Kampman.
Previous Pick: Derrick Morgan

11. Denver Broncos: Maurkice Pouncey, OC/OG, Florida
The Broncos are changing their blocking style along the offensive line; looking for bigger offensive linemen. With the Broncos letting go Casey Weigmann, and Maurkice Pouncey rising up the draft board, he is a logical choice for them.
Previous Pick: Rolando McClain

12. Tennessee Titans: Jason Pierre-Paul, DE, South Florida
The Titans really need a defensive end, and the sixteenth pick is too early for Everson Griffen, so the Titans trade away their first, and fourth rounder in 2010; as well as a second rounder in 2011.
Previous Pick: Dan Williams

13. San Francisco 49ers: Earl Thomas, S, Texas
If you listen to San Francisco fans, there is no way they go cornerback, but they do need a safety. Earl Thomas would make perfect sense here.
Previous Pick: Joe Haden

14. Seattle Seahawks: Dez Bryant, WR, Oklahoma State
With Pete Carroll losing out on the best wide receiver in the 2010 free agency class in Brandon Marshall, the Seahawks decide to take the best wide receiver in the 2010 NFL Draft class.
Previous Pick: Dez Bryant

15. Buffalo Bills: Anthony Davis, OT, Rutgers
The Bills take their franchise left tackle to protect their new franchise quarterback that they get later on in the NFL Draft.
Previous Pick: Maurkice Pouncey

16. Minnesota Vikings: Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame
The Vikings trade way up to get their franchise quarterback in Jimmy Clausen as they make sure San Francisco and Arizona don't take him. The Dolphins however need extra motivation to take this trade, and the Vikings make it worth their while trading away their first, second, and fifth rounder in the 2010 NFL Draft; as well as Ryan Cook.
Previous Pick: Jason Pierre-Paul

17. San Francisco 49ers: Mike Iupati, OT/OG, Idaho
With the defensive backfield settled for right now, the 49ers look to find a tackle to work on the left side, with Joe Staley holding down the right side. The 49ers look at the Branden Albert experiment, and unlike many of national media who do not follow the Chiefs sees the experiment is working quite well, and decide to give it a try with another offensive lineman who can play plenty of different positions in trenches on the offensive side.
Previous Pick: Earl Thomas

18. Pittsburgh Steelers: Kyle Wilson, CB, Boise State
The Steelers could use some help on the offensive line, but there stills seems to be a belief that the problem is Big Ben holding onto the football too long, and the organization seems to be fine with that. The Steelers will go defense, and improve their defensive backfield with Kyle Wilson.
Previous Pick: Kyle Wilson

19. Atlanta Falcons: Sergio Kindle, LB, Texas
Under Mike Smith, the Falcons have just finished their best two year stretch in team history. If they want to continue their new found streak of winning seasons they need to find someone to replace John Abraham, or at least reduce pressure off of him. Put this guy on the same side with Abraham and let the left tackle choose his poison.
Previous Pick: Sergio Kindle

20. Houston Texans: Ryan Mathews, RB, Fresno State
Steve Slaton is a very talented change of pace runningback, but they need a pounding feature back who will be able to start for them, and Ryan Mathews is the best that fits with the Texans are looking for.
Previous Pick: Ryan Mathews

21. Cincinnati Bengals: Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma
The Bengals are almost set on offense, all they need to really finish their offense is a tightend, and their is no better in this draft class than Jermaine Gresham.
Previous Pick: Jermaine Gresham

22. Dallas Cowboys: Charles Brown, OT, Southern California
The Cowboys are getting old along the offensive line, and could use some younger players to develop and slowly take over along the offensive line. The Cowboys could stay where they are at the twenty-seventh pick, but they might lose out on the chance to take this left tackle to who making a last second climb from the second round to the first round. However, the Cowboys had to give up their first, and third rounder in 2010; as well as their fifth rounder in 2011.
Previous Pick: Jared Odrick

23. Green Bay Packers: C.J. Spiller, RB, Clemson
The Packers do have Ryan Grant, but they get a speed back to pair with their hard hitter. This is more of a pick of the best player available, and a bit of a need.
Previous Pick: C.J. Spiller

24. Kansas City Chiefs: Terence Cody, NT, Alabama
Do not be surprise for the Chiefs to also draft Torell Troup in the third round if he is there to add to a future rotation. For right Scott Pioli takes his prototype nose tackle.
Prevous Pick: Sean Weatherspoon

25. Baltimore Ravens: Sean Weatherspoon, LB, Missouri
Ray Lewis is not going to be around forever, and with noone on roster to replace him, they take this guy to eventually replace him sometime in the near future. Until than, he will learn a lot how to be a leader from the greatest defensive leader of the early part of the century in Ray Lewis.
Previous Pick: Carlos Dunlap

26. Arizona Cardinals: Brandon Graham, LB, Michigan
The Cardinals could use some pass rushers for the future, and he is one of the best left.
Previous Pick: Brandon Graham

27. New England Patriots: Jared Odrick, DE, Penn State
The Patriots would have taken him at their orginial first round pick; so nothing has changed except for Bill Belichick now has a couple more picks to play with in the next two drafts.
Previous Pick: Mike Iupati

28. San Diego Chargers: Dan Williams, NT, Tennessee
The Chargers could use a runningback really bad, but that position is becoming a "dime in a dozen". Nose tackle is a whole lot harder to fill, and the Chargers could really use one after losing Jamaal Williams to the Denver Broncos.
Previous Pick: Jahvid Best

29. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Demaryius Thomas, WR, Georgia Tech
The Jets could use a couple of extra draft picks, and with the Buccaneers in desperate need of a wide receiver, they give up their second second, third, and first seventh rounder in 2010.
Previous Pick: Jerry Hughes

30. Miami Dolphins: Jerry Hughes, LB, Texas Christian
The Dolphins need pass rushing linebackers with the lost of Joey Porter, and Jason Taylor. Jerry Hughes is the best left.
Previous Pick: Jimmy Clausen

31. Indianapolis Colts: Devin McCourty, CB, Rutgers
The Colts could use some extra help at the cornerback postion, and the McCourty has the speed to play on the Colts' defense.
Previous Pick: Devin McCourty

32. New Orleans Saints: Taylor Mays, S, Southern California
The Saints need someone to replace Darren Sharper. This is the most athletic safety left.
Previous Pick: Taylor Mays

1ST ROUND

2. Detroit Lions: Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska
Previous Pick: Ndamukong Suh

3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma
Previous Pick: Gerald McCoy

4. Washington Redskins: Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma State
Previous Pick: Russell Okung

5. Philadelphia Eagles: Eric Berry, S, Tennessee
Instead of risking Earl Thomas not being there at the 24th pick, the Eagles decide to make a huge move to get the best safety in the 2010 NFL Draft. The Eagles trade away the 24th and 37th overall picks in the 2010 NFL Draft in order to draft the best safety in the draft in Eric Berry.
Previous Pick: Eric Berry

6. Seattle Seahawks: Bryan Bulaga, OT, Iowa
Previous Pick: Bryan Bulaga

7. Cleveland Browns: Joe Haden, CB, Florida
Previous Pick: Joe Haden

8. Oakland Raiders: Bruce Campbell, OT, Maryland
Previous Pick: Bruce Campbell

9. Buffalo Bills: Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame
Previous Pick: Jimmy Clausen

10. Jacksonville Jaguars: Derrick Morgan, DE, Georgia Tech
Previous Pick: Derrick Morgan

11. Denver Broncos: Dan Williams, NT, Tennessee
Previous Pick: Dan Williams

12. Miami Dolphins: Dez Bryant, WR, Oklahoma State
Previous Pick: Dez Bryant

13. Atlanta Falcons: Jason Pierre-Paul, DE, South Florida
With no chance of getting a 4-3 defensive end at the 19th pick, the Falcons hope to trade up in order to get Jason Pierre-Paul. They get there wish as they offer the 49ers additional draft picks for the ability to pick Pierre-Paul. The Falcons give up the 19th, 83rd, and 189th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft in exchange for the 13th, and 182th pick.
Previous Pick: Trent Williams

14. Denver Broncos: Mike Iupati, OG, Idaho
The Seahawks are hesitant to give up the 14th overall pick in exchange for Brandon Marshall, but desperate to get rid of him, Josh McDaniels agrees to swap second round picks (45th, and 60th) in order to retain their first round pick. With their future nose tackle just being drafted a couple of picks, the Broncos start to rebuild their offensive line from the zone blocking scheme to a much bigger offensive line.
Previous Pick: C.J. Spiller

15. New York Giants: Rolando McClain, LB, Alabama
Previous Pick: Rolando McClain

16. Tennessee Titans: Sergio Kindle, LB, Texas
Previous Pick: Jason Pierre-Paul

17. San Francisco 49ers: Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma
Previous Pick: Kyle Wilson

18. Pittsburgh Steelers: Kyle Wilson, CB, Boise State
Previous Pick: Mike Iupati

19. San Francisco 49ers: Earl Thomas, S, Texas
The 49ers received this pick as part of the trade out of the 13th pick. With no chance of drafting Kyle Wilson now, the 49ers decide to take the safety from Texas in Earl Thomas, as they 49ers try to build up their defensive backfield. Look for the 49ers to make a blockbuster deal early in the second day to get a franchise cornerback since this is a weak class.
Previous Pick: Sergio Kindle

20. Houston Texans: Ryan Mathews, RB, Fresno State
Previous Pick: Ryan Mathews

21. Cincinnati Bengals: Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma
Previous Pick: Earl Thomas

22. Dallas Cowboys: Anthony Davis, OT, Ruters
The Cowboys' offensive line is starting age, so they decide to trade up to get the last offensive lineman left that is worth a first round pick before Green Bay can their hands on him. In order to take New England's pick, the Cowboys had to give up the 27th pick, 90th pick, and 125th pick. However, the Patriots do the Cowboys a little favor as they give up the 22nd, and 119th pick.
Previous Pick: Jared Odrick

23. Green Bay Packers: C.J. Spiller, RB, Clemson
Previous Pick: Anthony Davis

24. Kansas City Chiefs: Terence Cody, NT, Alabama
Thank you Eric Berry. As signs are pointing towards Dan Williams not even being on the Chiefs' list, it is looking more like that Terence Cody might be the Chiefs' highest rated nose tackle. So the Chiefs got an extra draft pick, and saved some money in order to get their highest rated nose tackle. Mount Cody definitely fits the Chiefs "Right 53". When you look in the dictionary at "prototype nose tackle", there is a picture of Mount Cody in there. The only problem with Cody might be he needs to get into shape, but after getting the entire Chiefs' roster into shape in one offseason, Todd Haley should have no problem getting one player into playing shape (Would say 340-350 pounds would be playing shape for Terence Cody.).
Prevous Pick: Brandon Graham

25. Baltimore Ravens: Jared Odrick
Previous Pick: Jermaine Gresham

26. Arizona Cardinals: Brandon Graham, LB, Michigan
Previous Pick: Terence Cody

27. St. Louis Rams: Demaryius Thomas, WR, Georgia Tech
There are some trades that you think to yourself, "Why did you trade down for him? He would have been there for your next pick." Well this is one of those trades. However, the trade can be pointed more towards the selling of the Rams. Yes, Bill Devaney did claim that the Rams' ownership is allowing to spend as much money as he wants, but even so the team does not seem to concern about breaking the bank. So why trade up if you want to save money? The answer is so the Rams the can get rid of money they would have pay multiple draft picks. There's multiple flaws to this strategy, but the Rams seem like a team that would try to strategy. Anyways, the Rams trade away the 33rd, 66th, and 2011 6th rounder in order to get the 27th, and 231st picks in the 2010 NFL Draft in order to pick Demaryius Thomas.
Previous Pick: Demaryius Thomas

28. San Diego Chargers: Jahvid Best, RB, California
Previous Pick: Jahvid Best

29. New York Jets: Carlos Dunlap, DE, Florida
Previous Pick: Carlos Dunlap

30. Minnesota Vikings: Colt McCoy, QB, Texas
Previous Pick: Tim Tebow

31. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Taylor Mays, S, Southern California
The Buccaneers love the idea of adding the extremely athletic player to take care of the safety position. Personally, I believe he is the second coming of Roy Williams, but there will be teams who disagree with me, and agree to pick up. In order to make the selection of Taylor Mays possible, the Buccaneers gave up 35th, and 67th pick in exchange of the 31st pick.
Previous Pick: Kareem Jackson

32. New Orleans Saints: Jerry Hughes, LB, Texas Christian
Previous Pick: Jerry Hughes
